About Us!
The Roots
The objective of our club is to provide a medium for those interested or directly exposed to type 1 and type 2 diabetes at the University of Western Ontario.
The Western Diabetes Association will work alongside the Canadian Diabetes Association, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and other organizations in order to promote research, raise awareness, as well as provide education to its members and the entire student body. Furthermore, one of the most crucial aspect of the club is philanthropy. WDA will host many events in order to raise funds and work towards improving the lives of those living with both type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
